Established by Resolution 82-218 on September 22, 1982 by the Hoopa Valley Tribe, the Hoopa Valley Public Utilities District is powered by a dedicated team of tribal professionals committed to strengthening and expanding essential services for our community. Though small in number, our staff bring deep expertise, strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to the Hupa people.

Through strategic partnerships in engineering, surveying, project management, construction, and fiscal compliance, our team has significantly expanded HVPUD’s capacity and impact. Over the past five years, we have secured more than $150 million in grants and contracts—demonstrating our staff’s capability, credibility, and vision.

As we continue to grow, our focus remains on building internal capacity, enhancing service delivery, and advancing infrastructure that supports the long-term well-being of the Hupa people.
